The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

John O'Shaughnessy, trainer of Little Jimmy Brown (late withdrawal(€200) due to ground conditions(€200) - €400.

109A Micheal Maher Building M'dn H'dle

The Stewards received a report from Turf Club Starter,Mr.P.Malone, that Mr A. McCurtin, rider of Madoun, disobeyed his instructions, causing a false start. Evidence was heard from the starter and rider concerned. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Rule 208 and having considered his record, suspended him for two race days.

Mr A. McCurtin, rider of Madoun trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly throughout.

The Stewards fined Eoin Christopher McCarthy, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Muzhil, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

109B1 Ryans Cleaning Event Specialists Hcp Hdl

M.P. Butler, rider of Late Night Deed (GB) trained by Garrett James Power, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her action and pulled up.

The Stewards requested a report from Michael Hourigan, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Give Me A Break, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge disappointed on her last start in Limerick on heavy ground, adding that today's better ground helped his charge return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanations offered.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Monte Wildhorn, trained by W. McCreery, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

109E Glenview & Rathbarry Stud Nov.Hunter Sch

The Stewards interviewed Mr J.W. Hannon, rider of Anseanachai Cliste, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f) and (g), in that he used the whip with the arm above shoulder height and with excessive force and frequency. Having considered his record, the rider was suspended for five race days.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Shane Billy trained by Daniel John Howard burst blood vessels.

David Edward Finn, trainer of Dawn's Catcher, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was distressed post race.

109G (C&G) Pt-To-Pt INH Flat Race

P.C.O'Connor, trainer of Cooladerry King, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Friday 16th May that his charge was lame post race.
