D.P. McDonogh, rider of Hot Stone, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled shortly after leaving the stalls.

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Piper Bomb, ridden by T.M. Sherry and Camacho Dancer, ridden by S.P. Davis, where it appeared T.M. Sherry had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that S.P. Davis was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards severely cautioned S.P. Davis and advised him to ride with more care in future.

L.F. Roche, rider of Mayaadeen trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise in running.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Miss Colleen Murphy, that Karen Kenny, rider of Lucan Rock, weighed in at 1.3 Ibs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards found Karen Kenny to be in breach of Rule 231 and having considered her record, cautioned her with regard to her future responsibilities.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Footstepsintime, trained by J.F. Levins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards interviewed John James Feane, trainer of Less Of That, regarding the late arrival of the horse into the Parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer who apologised for this. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards found Mr. Feane in breach of Rule 32(ii) and having taken his previous record into account the Stewards imposed a fine of €200 on the trainer.

The Stewards enquired into an incident entering the straight involving King Torus, ridden by A.J. Slattery,in the presence of John James Feane. Heart Of Gold (GB), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, and Double Czech, ridden by Karen Kenny, where it appeared Karen Kenny ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised A.J. Slattery to ride with more care in future.

Karen Kenny, rider of Double Czech, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount ran short of room in the home straight.

R.P. Downey, rider of Get Out Of Jail, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slow to start.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Emily Square trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her action.

378H Ballykisteen H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Taras Way trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got tight for room in the straight.

J.C.Hayden, trainer of William Ashford, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board that his charge did not handle the heavy ground.
