The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

David Harry Kelly, trainer of Jappeloup (Off Feed) - €200.

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

P. D. Kennedy rode Cloudy Morning (reserve) , trained by M.T. O'Donovan (Race 6)
Miss M. M. McElligott rode Chrisdonlady (reserve) , trained by Patrick Neville (Race 6).

175A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Pass The Trophy, ridden by F.M. Berry, Prologue, ridden by C.P. Hoban, and Lomi's Law, ridden by M.C. Hussey, where it appeared Pass The Trophy ran short of room and was forced to check on the rails. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised C.P. Hoban to ride with more care in future.

F.M. Berry, rider of Pass The Trophy, trained by P.D. Deegan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount received interference at the first bend and was found to have suffered a cut to a leg on his return.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Siege Of Orleans (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have suffered a skin abrasion on his left hind in running.

175C Fillies Friday Night Out 8th August M'dn

The Stewards interviewed F.M. Berry, rider of Johnny Lawman, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his mount was hanging markedly away from the stands and his use of the whip was solely to ensure he maintained a straight course. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards accepted the evidence that the horse was hanging but advised F.M. Berry to be more careful with giving his mount a chance to respond to the whip in future.

175D Excelebration Tipperary Stakes

The Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Accepted, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed first, Avenue Montaigne, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed third and Folk Law, ridden by F. Lynch, unplaced. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action.

175E Kevin McManus Bookmaker Grimes H'dle

The Stewards requested a report from P. Carberry, rider of Draycott Place, in relation to the fact that his mount jumped a hurdle on the way to the start. The rider reported that this horse took a keen hold on the way down and he was unable to pull him up and prevent him from jumping the hurdle. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the report, the Stewards accepted the explanation given and took no further action.

175F Costellos Tavern H'cap H'dle

B.R. Dalton, rider of Raheenwood trained by Colin Kidd, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount broke down and pulled up.

D.J. Condon, rider of Pumped Up Kicks, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran flat.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Pumped Up Kicks, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

175G Liambuckleycarsales.com M'dn H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Fredsmemory trained by F.G. Hand was found to have burst a blood vessel.
