The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

A.P.O'Brien, trainer of Easter Lily (late withdrawal) - €320
Damian Joseph English, trainer of Wild Shot (GB) (late withdrawal - ground)- €400.
Patrick Martin, trainer of Noble Aussie (late withdrawal-ground) - €400

214A McGrath Oil Claiming Race

S.P. Davis, rider of Jackie Ellis trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount reared leaving the stalls and was slowly away.

L.F. Roche, rider of High Honcho (GB) trained by Damian Joseph English, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left and was eased in the straight.

214B Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction (F) M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Scarlet Ribbons (GB), ridden by D.P. McDonogh, Crown Leah (GB), ridden by P.J. Smullen and Kimono Girl, ridden by W.M. Lordan, where it appeared Scarlet Ribbons suffered interference and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference was accidental and took no further action. Mr. S. McDonogh absented himself from this enquiry and Mr. John Powell acted as Chairman.

214E Coolmore Ivawood Stakes

The Stewards received a report from the riders in the fifth race that two lady riders were on the track when the field entered the back straight. Subsequently, the Stewards interviewed Miss M. O Sullivan and Miss S. Ahern who apologised for their actions adding that they were not aware that the race was off and did not hear the field approaching until very late. Having considered all the evidence, the Stewards reminded both riders of their future responsibilities in this regard.

K.J. Manning, rider of Strike For Freedom, trained by J.S. Bolger, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung right in the straight.

214F(ii) @TipperaryRaces H'cap (Division Two)

The Stewards fined Albert Moriarty, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Oor Jock, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

K.P. Moriarty, rider of Oor Jock trained by Albert Moriarty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

K.J. Manning, rider of Harry Speed, trained by Garvan Donnelly, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost its action leaving the back straight.

The Stewards fined T.J. O'Mara, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Hatton Cross, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91.

214G Toomey's Applegreen Station (Ladies) Hcp

Miss S. Lynam, rider of Musical Jewel trained by Sarah Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount acted up in the stalls.
