D.J. McInerney, rider of Art World trained by Donncha Duggan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise.

B.J. Cooper, rider of Tidal River trained by Anthony Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped carefully.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Semper Fidelis (GB) trained by William J. McLernon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran green and pulled up thereafter.

105B Ryans Cleaning Event Specialists Hcp Hdl

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hero's Welcome, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

M.P. Walsh, rider of Hero's Welcome, trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.

Patrick Cronin, trainer of Naturally Blond, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge pulled both hind shoes.

105C Tipperary Racecourse H'cap S'chase

R.P. Treacy, rider of Joxer trained by W. Harney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struck into himself.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Grey Mountain Mist trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

The Stewards enquired into the apparent improvement in form of Capture The Drama, trained by Aengus King, placed first compared with its recent form. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who reported that his charge did not handle the heavy ground on his previous chase start. Mr. King also stated that his charge appreciated today's underfoot conditions and also got his own way during this race which in his opinion were contributing factors to the improved performance. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for fences 3 and 4 to be omitted from this race

The Stewards interviewed Mr. R. James, rider of Kaiser Black, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found Mr.R. James to be in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) in that he used his whip with his arm above shoulder height. Having considered his record in this regard, the stewards cautioned Mr. R. James with regard to his future responsibilities.

105E Glenview & Rathbarry Stud Nov.Hunter Sch

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for fences 3 and 4 to be omitted from this race

The Stewards interviewed Mr E. Mahon, rider of Mabeywhoknowsmabey, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Mr. E. Mahon to be in breach of Regulation 10.3(f) in that he used his whip with excessive frequency and Regulation 10.4 in that he used his whip without giving his mount time to respond. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended Mr. E. Mahon for 7 race days and ordered him to attend RACE for 1 days tuition on the correct use of the whip.

The Stewards interviewed Mr J.W. Hannon, rider of Oscar Contender, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr J.W. Hannon was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency and R10(4) by failing to give his mount time to respond to the whip. Having taken his good previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr J.W. Hannon for 2 racedays.

105F p2p.ie (Mares) Pt-To-Pt INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr R.J. Kiely, rider of Bonnie Lily, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr R.J. Kiely was in breach of R10(3)(c) by the unnecessary hitting of his mount after it had clearly obtained it's maximum placing. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr R.J. Kiely for 1 raceday.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr L. Walsh, that Mr D.P. Murphy, rider of Siege Of Tobruk, had weighed in at 1.2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had changed the girths after weighing out and did not realise that it would amount to as much overweight. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr D.P. Murphy was in breach of Rule 231 (ii) by weighing in more than 1 lb overweight and furthermore by his admission in evidence he was further found to be in breach of Rule 198 (vi) by knowingly changing an article that had been put in the scales on weighing out. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr D.P. Murphy for 3 racedays.
