The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr. T. Hamilton replaced P.D. Kennedy on My Forever Friend, trained by John Joseph Hanlon (Race 4)(injured)
P.E. Corbett replaced L. Quinlan on Howitsdone, trained by Seamus Neville (Race 4)(injured)

042A Irish Stallion Farms EBF(Mares)Beg. S'ch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Echoes Of Family, trained by Edward P.Harty, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Echoes Of Family trained by Edward P.Harty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't jump the first few fences well, became detached and was subsequently pulled up.

042D Killinan H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Macho Mover, trained by Eoin Doyle, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have sustained a slight graze on his right fore pastern and to be otherwise post race normal.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Marino Marvel trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

L.P. Gilligan, rider of Hitchcock (GB) trained by R.Donohoe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled early on.

At the request of the Stewards, E. O'Connell, rider of Luis Van Zandt, trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount met with interference jumping the first and was forced to race further back than intended as a result of this. He further added that his mount may appreciate softer ground conditions.

042E I.N.H. Stallion Owners EBF M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined P.A.Fahy, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Mister Fogpatches, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Mister Fogpatches in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

R.P. Treacy, rider of The Artful Roger trained by J.Halley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with unintentional interference on the first circuit, but felt this was of little consequence.

042F Thurles H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed Mr B. O'Neill, rider of Plan Of Attack, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. B. O'Neill was in breach of Regulation 10. 4, in that he had failed to give his mount time to respond to the whip. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

042G Fethard INH Flat Race

The Stewards enquired from Miss R. Dudfield, rider of Sneaky Getaway, who was unseated down the back in this race. Ms. Dudfield reported that she lost an iron and was unseated, after an injured horse struck into her mount in running. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental and took no further action.
