357A Leugh M'dn H'dle

D.N. Russell, rider of Cilento trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped slowly.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Bullowney, trained by Garrett James Power, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount hung left.

357C Killinan H'cap H'dle

J.J. Burke, rider of Coolbane West trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

M.P. Walsh, rider of Spring Forward trained by Edward P.Harty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was outpaced and jumped big in the early stages before staying on well. He added that the horse may benefit from a step up in trip.

357D I.N.H. Stallion Owners EBF M'dn H'dle

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for the third last hurdle to be omitted.

B.T. O'Connell, rider of Air Command trained by J.H. Culloty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

357E Thurles H'cap H'dle

B.J. Cooper, rider of Just Cause trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Stewards interviewed R. Loughran, rider of Toushan, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(e), in that he hit the horse in the incorrect place and having considered his record, suspended him for one race day. Furthermore the rider was instructed to attend RACE for one day's tuition on the correct use of the whip.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cyprian Prince, trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

M.F.Morris, trainer of Just Cause, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was found to have lost two front shoes after pulling up in this race

357F Munster H'cap H'dle

The Stewards fined T.Shanahan, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Kilkarney Mai, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
