The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Gordon Elliott, trainer of Diamond King (Ground) - €200

053A Devil's Bit Beginners S'chase

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Uptake (GB) trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having made a respiratory noise during this race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Just Cause, trained by M.F. Morris, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race with a slight nasal discharge.

053C Jimmy Neville Memorial H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed Mr D. Skehan, rider of Samanntom, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr D. Skehan was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using the whip with excessive frequency and having taken his record into consideration, cautioned him.

D.F. O'Regan, rider of Mr Goodenough trained by John F.Robinson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly to the left and was pulled up.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Spancil Hill trained by Michael J. McDonagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount was pulled up having hung violently to the left during this race.

053D Martinstown Opportunity M'dn H'dle

A. Ring, rider of Kilbarry Marien trained by C. O'Keeffe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having never travelled during this race.

C. O'Keeffe, trainer of Kilbarry Marien, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Tuesday 28th March that his charge was found to be in-season post race.

053E White Gypsy @ Finns Borrisoleigh H'dle

Michael J. Bowe, trainer of Aunt Alice, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge lost a left front shoe in running

053F Clonoulty H'cap H'dle

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Sister Saragh trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having lost her action following a bad mistake at the last fence in the back straight.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sister Saragh, trained by Peter Fahey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

Peter Fahey, trainer of Sister Saragh, reported to the Turf Club Veterinary Officer that his charge was found to have mucus on endoscopic examination.

J.J. Slevin, rider of Mount Masada trained by D.E.Fitzgerald, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up after the first hurdle having lost his action.

A. McCurtin, rider of Time Is Time trained by David Richard Barry, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped violantly to the left during this race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Mount Masada trained by D.E.Fitzgerald was post race normal.

053G Littleton (Pro-Am) I.N.H. Flat Race

Miss K. Harrington, rider of Nevsky trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount hung very badly during this race.
