J.J. Slevin, rider of Rock On Lilly trained by T. Donohue, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped and he pulled up thereafter.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Scotch Quay trained by Eoin Griffin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that she lost a iron after the last hurdle.

The Stewards requested a report from Eric Larkin, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Oakfield Rose, placed first, as compared with its recent run. Eric Larkin reported that his charge was very hard on herself and never settled in Clonmel. He felt that she possibly did not handle the downhill run and also resented the tongue bit used. In his opinion today she was fresh from a short break and fitted with a snaffle bridle, she appeared to settle well over the lesser distance of two miles. He also considered that the mare was happier within herself at all times today. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
