The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

M.J.Ferris replaced M.P. Butler on What A Jewel, trained by Eoin Doyle (Race 1)(injured)

290A Holycross (Mares) S'chase

A.E. Lynch, rider of Jesmond Lodge trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount suffered an injury in running.

290B www.thurlesraces.ie Beginners S'chase

B.J. Cooper, rider of Georges Conn, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never let himself down on the ground.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Georges Conn, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

290D Thurles H'cap H'dle

The Stewards fined Donal Kinsella, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of King Of Oriel, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

290F Leugh H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Fleurys Fort, ridden by Mr D. Skehan, placed first and Vic Approach, ridden by David Mullins, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judges placings, they were however of the opinion that Mr.D.Skehan was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode improperly and having considered his record, suspended him for three race days.

A.E. Lynch, rider of Naughty Molly trained by Mrs Hannah Lee, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struck into herself in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Naughty Molly, at the request of trainer, Mrs Hannah Lee, and reported the animal to be lame on the left hind having sustained a cut.

290G Munster INH Flat Race

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Work Du Breteau (FR), trained by Thomas Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
