The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

J.A. Nash, trainer of Comehere Hi (off feed) - €200

331C I.N.H. Stallion Owners EBF Rated Nov.Hdl

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Los Alamos, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

331D Sportsmens (Mares) M'dn H'dle

Owing to a request from broadcasters, the Stewards granted permission for a 2 minute delay to this race.

L.P. Gilligan, rider of Kiltormer trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount gurgled before the second last.

331E Hill Fabrication H'cap H'dle

Mr N.T. Prendergast, rider of Charle Brune (FR) trained by T.Shanahan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that the hood on his mount became dislodged in running.

The Stewards interviewed T. Shanahan, trainer of Charle Brune (FR), after it appeared the hood worn by his charge became dislodged in running. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned, who stated that he had fitted the hood correctly and could offer no explanation for what occurred, other than the velcro fastener appeared to open for no apparent reason. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards advised Mr. Shanahan to make sure the equipment carried by his charge is fitted correctly in future.
