The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Oliver McKiernan, trainer of Life Isfor Living (Off Feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.W. Kennedy rode Jeremy's Delight (reserve) , trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 3)

088A Duke And Duchess Of Cornwall (M) Mdn Hdl

The Stewards fined J.T.R.Dreaper, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Topographical, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Topographical in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Little Lady Lu, trained by J.A. Nash, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Jeremys Dream trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount finished lame.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Jeremys Dream trained by Gordon Elliott was found to be lame on its left foreleg post race.

088C Rossespoint Caravan Park H'cap H'dle

At the request of the Stewards, J.M. Moore, rider of Peaches And Cream, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount missed the second last and got tight for room on the turn into the straight, after which his chance was gone.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Sir Pimpernel trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the second last.

088D Killyhevlin Hotel Rated Nov.H'dle

The Stewards fined Andrew Slattery, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Cooldine Bog, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Cooldine Bog in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stay Humble, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on its right hind post race.

P. Townend, rider of Stay Humble trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise from the back of the third last.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Padraic O Conaire trained by Mrs. Y. Dunleavy was lame on its off fore leg post race.

The Stewards interviewed J.J. Slevin, rider of Gipsy Lee Rose (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(i) (time to respond) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 2 race days.

The Stewards interviewed A. Ring, rider of British Art (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(i)(time to respond) and having taken his record into account cautioned him.

088E Sligo Racecourse M'dn H'dle

A.W. Short, rider of Outside The Ring trained by Neil McKnight, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

C.A. Landers, rider of Glencullen Hero trained by Michael E Hallinan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount found the going too quick.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined The Echo Boy, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

088F1 Kennedy's Bar Sligo H'cap H'dle

The Stewards fined Mrs. Y. Dunleavy, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Bomber Jackson, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Bomber Jackson in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

The Stewards interviewed D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Epsilon Indi, in relation to his riding in the straight where he appeared to stop riding approximately 50 yards from the line before resuming riding again shortly afterwards. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he mistook the 50 yard post for the winning post which was why he stopped riding at this point. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards found the rider in breach of Rule 212A (iv) by failing to obtain his best possible placing as a result of negligent misjudegement and having taken his previous record into account suspended him for 5 race days and ordered that his riding fee be forfeited.

The Stewards requested a report from Mark Michael McNiff, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Pump Road, placed 1st, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that this horse was unlucky not to win three runs ago at Ballinrobe. Subsequently he possibly went over the top in his next two runs and today back after a break he returned to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

088F2 Kennedy's Bar Sligo H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cappuccino Man, trained by Oliver McKiernan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R.A. Doyle, rider of The Hunter Hoe trained by Conor O'Dwyer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action and pulled up before the second last.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of English Pale trained by S.J.Mahon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran too free.

The Stewards interviewed C.P. McNamara, rider of Torquay (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10. 3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him.

088G Sligo Supporters (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Emperor Of West (FR) trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount appeared to be distressed when pulling up.
