The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Mrs D.A. Love, trainer of Thinkinginmysleep (Off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr E.P. O'Brien replaced Mr R. James on Mon Storm, trained by Victor Wilson (Race 5)(Injured)
Ms Lisa O'Neill replaced Mr B.J. White on Chateauneuf Du Pap (GB), trained by Anthony Mullins (Race 5)(Injured)

099B Roscommon H'cap

C.T. Keane, rider of Noble Intention, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount leaned in of his own accord onto the rails past the stands and dislodged some uprights in doing so.

C.D. Hayes, rider of You Will Do For Me (USA), trained by P.D. Deegan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was a big colt who was unable to handle the track.

099E Kepak INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr H.P. Cleary, rider of The Carlow Tank, concerning his use of the whip in the back straight when out of contention. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr H.P. Cleary was in breach of R10(3)(b) by the unnecessary hitting of his horse after it's chance of winning or being placed was clearly gone and consequently cautioned him.

099F myITdepartment.ie H'cap S'chase

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Motown Bob, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Clontarf trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up as he was feeling the ground. The trainer reported to the Turf Club Veterinary Officer that Clontarf did not go on the ground.

The Stewards interviewed S.W. Flanagan, rider of Thomond, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that S.W. Flanagan was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his clean previous record into consideration the Stewards cautioned S.W. Flanagan.

Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, trainer of Clontarf, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge didn't go on the ground tonight.
