The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.P.Hoban rode Gold Chaser (reserve) , trained by M.Halford (Race 2)
D.P.McDonogh rode True Companion (reserve) , trained by Adrian Brendan Joyce (Race 2)
S.Foley replaced C. O'Donoghue on Princess Aloof, trained by Mrs John Harrington (Race 3)(unwell)
D.J.Mullins replaced A.E. Lynch on Sadler's Risk, trained by Henry de Bromhead (Race 5)(injured)
S.A.Shorthall replaced A.E. Lynch on The Church Gate, trained by Matthew J. Smith (Race 6)(injured)
T.E.Doran rode Lough Easkey (reserve) , trained by Aidan Anthony Howard (Race 6)

243A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Beast (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced, Spanish Tenor, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed fifth and Bruinneall, ridden by K.J. Manning, placed fourth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and took no further action.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Hone The Younger (GB), trained by Joseph G. Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung off the final bend.

243C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr.P.W.Murtagh, that G.F. Carroll, rider of Tara Dylan, attempted to weigh out without a body protector. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Rule 198(v) and having considered his record, suspended him for seven race days.

243D Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards fined T.Hogan, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Powerbird, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

243E Budweiser Hurdle

R. Walsh, rider of Simenon, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Simenon, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal(samples taken for analysis).

243F Tote H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed J.J. Slevin, rider of Craig Star, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f) and 10.3(g), in that he used the whip with excessive force and with his arm above shoulder height and having considered his clean record, suspended him for one race day.

243G Four Roads(Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards fined James Leavy, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Allez Sea, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
