The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.W. O'Connor rode Mallory Heights (reserve) , trained by Garvan Donnelly (Race 4)

266A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Med.Auc.(F) Mdn

C.R. King, rider of Predilecta trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room about two furlongs from the finish.

266B Follow Roscommon On Facebook H'cap

V.Clifford, trainer of Hurricane Twister, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge coughed post race in the stable yard.

266C www.roscommonracecourse.ie M'dn

The Stewards informed Gavin Cromwell, trainer that Elusive Ivy, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

D.M. Grant, rider of Last Garrison, trained by Nigel Carolan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount travelled well into the straight but stopped quickly.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Prospector (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

266D Athlone Apprentice H'cap

V.Clifford, trainer of Malicious Intent, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge pulled a front shoe in running.

K.J. Leonard, rider of Sheilas Wish, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount fell independently having sustained an injury.

The Stewards enquired into an incident after leaving the back straight involving Flannery, ridden by Christina Simpson, unplaced, Smiler, ridden by D.P. Linehan, placed third and Our Rachael, ridden by Gary Paul Halpin, unseated rider, where it appeared that Our Rachel ran short of room, collided with the running rails and dislodged her rider. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by D.P. Linehan riding carelessly and consequently suspended him for 7 racedays. Kevin McDonagh attended this enquiry with D.P. Linehan.

266F Roscommon On-Course Vets H'cap S'chase

J.S. McGarvey, rider of Old Supporter, trained by Denis W. Cullen, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake which caused him to lose his irons and left him with no choice but to pull up.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Uponthe Hoof, trained by T.J. Taaffe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount cocked his jaw at the start, lost considerable ground, eventually tired in running and was consequently pulled up.

266G Munsboro M'dn H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Rocky Bleier (GB), trained by Alan Fleming, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed and blowing hard post race.

A.P. Heskin, rider of Rocky Bleier (GB) trained by Alan Fleming, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran too free during the early stages of this race.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Milanesque trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action in running and was pulled up.
