108A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Med. Auct. Race

W.M. Lordan, rider of Zorro Cass (FR) trained by Aidan F. Fogarty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

108C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards interviewed W.J. Lee, rider of Tipitena (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that W.J. Lee was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), in that he used his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended W.J. Lee for 1 raceday.

108D Roscommon H'cap

The Stewards interviewed R. Coakley, rider of Construct (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that R. Coakley was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), in that he used his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended R. Coakley for 1 raceday.

108E Kepak INH Flat Race

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Stormy Master, trained by Ray Hackett, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.

Mr F. Maguire, rider of Silver Sheen (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped and he pulled up.

108F Connaughton Auctioneers H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed D. Meyler, rider of Lake Takapuna, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that D. Meyler was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), in that he used his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards cautioned D. Meyler on this occasion.
