The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

J.S. Bolger, trainer of Pirolo (Declared in error) - €200
S.J. Mahon, trainer of Rocky Court (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

N.G. McCullagh rode Apache Gold (reserve), trained by John J. Walsh (Race 4)

140A Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction M'dn

D. O'Brien, rider of Band Of Outlaws, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that on leaving the stalls his iron shifted when making contact with the framework and his foot slipped out which resulted in him riding without both irons from thereon.

140B Ballaghaderreen H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Jackie Ellis, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost her action very close to the finish.

140D Oran H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Polymnia (GB) trained by Edward U. Hales, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stumbled on leaving the stalls.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Byron Beauty trained by H. Rogers, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room in the early part of this race.

140F thetote.com Connacht Nat. H'cap S'chase

The Stewards fined S.J. Mahon, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Smokey Joe Joe, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

B.J. Cooper, rider of Net D'Ecosse (FR) trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the first fence and pulled up after the fourth last fence.

140G LadiesDay Roscommon July 10th Beg Schase

The Stewards fined I. Madden, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Old Meadow, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sure Reef, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

G.N. Fox, rider of Plain Talking, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount tired early in the straight and jumped slowly over the last three fences.

D.J. McInerney, rider of Little Stevie (GB) trained by E. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount gurgled in-running.
