095A Dooley Insurance Cross Country S'chase

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of An Rinceoir Alainn, trained by Peter Maher, for failing to lodge the passport in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ballycasey, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have an exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

The Stewards interviewed D.J. McInerney, rider of Josies Orders, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g) (frequency) and (i) (time to respond) and having taken his record into account cautioned him.

Mr P.W. Mullins, rider of Ballycasey trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst.

095B BoyleSports H'cap S'chase

At the request of the Stewards, L.P. Dempsey, rider of Spider Web, trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped quickly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Redhotfillypeppers, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P. Townend, rider of Redhotfillypeppers, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got very tired and pulled up.

095C EBF Annie Power (Mares)Champion H'dle

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Tintangle trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was reluctant to jump off, never travelled and pulled up.

095D AES Champion 4YO H'dle

D.N. Russell, rider of Coko Beach (FR) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount found the going too quick.

The Stewards interviewed Mr. D. O'Connor, rider of Fakir D'oudairies (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Mr. O'Connor stated that his use of the whip on the home turn included a number which were used solely to correct his mount from leaning off the bend and causing interference. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards accepted the rider's evidence that three hits were a necessary corrective measure and as his use of the whip thereafter was not in breach of the rules they took no further action.

095E Palmerstown House Pat Taaffe Hcap Schase

P. Townend, rider of Bellow Mome (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran flat.

A. Ring, rider of Arkwrisht (FR) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran flat.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bellow Mome (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

095F Ballymore H'cap H'dle

D.F. O'Regan, rider of La Tektor (FR) trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't move well.

The Stewards interviewed Mr P.W. Mullins, rider of Mr Adjudicator (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3(i) (time to respond) and having take his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined La Tektor (FR), trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards requested a report from W.P. Mullins, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Mr Adjudicator (GB), placed first, as compared with its most recent run. The trainer's representative, Mr. P. Delmer, reported that this horse was tried in earplugs last time which were not used today, the horse was also tried in a new bit today. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

095G K Club (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards fined Seamus Fahey, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Lough Sewdy, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Lough Sewdy in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

Mr F. Maguire, rider of Silver Sheen (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount's saddle slipped forward.
