270A O’Brien Event Catering M'dn H'dle

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Mr. Jackman, ridden by J. W. Kennedy and Formal Order, ridden by K. M. Donoghue were it appeared that Mr. Jackman drifted into Formal Order taking him off a true line. Having viewed the recording and considered the matter the Stewards decided that no further action was warranted.

270B Kaizen Brand Evolution M'dn H'dle

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Bigly trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the second last.

270C FitzpatrickPromotion.ie (M) H'cap H'dle

A.W. Short, rider of Latoyah Of North trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran too free.

270D SalesSense Beginners S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Eagle Moon (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.

R.M. Power, rider of Eagle Moon (FR) trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount found todays going too soft.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Soldiers Hill trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Enjoy D'allen (FR) trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled a front shoe in running.

270E Irish Stallion Farms EBF H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed D. J. O'Keeffe, rider of Cooldine Bog, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found D. J. O'Keeffe in breach of Regulation 10.3.(g), excessive frequency. Having considered D. J. O'Keefes record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

270F Europrint Wicklow H'cap S'chase

D.F. O'Regan, rider of Give Him Time (GB) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the first.

G.B. Noonan, rider of Fairymount Boy trained by Michael P. Hourigan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle todays going and was pulled up.

The Stewards interviewed J.C. Canavan, rider of Ringrone Castle, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found J. C. Canavan in breach of Regulation 10.3.(G), excessive frequency and (i), time to respond. Having considered J. C. Canavans record in this regard the Stewards suspended J. C. Canavan for two racedays.

The Stewards interviewed D. Meyler, rider of Lord Lariat, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that one of the riders strikes was for corrective purposes and as the remaining number of strikes did not breach Regulation 10 they took no further action.

270G Racing Post (Ladies P-Am) INH Flat Race

Miss S. Lynam, rider of The Dude Abides trained by Sarah Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount was hampered by the injured horse.
