The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

A.J.Martin, trainer of Golden Spear (GB) (Declared in error) - €300

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr P.W. Mullins replaced Mr D.L. Queally on Granny Knot, trained by P.F.McEnery (Race 7)(Injured)

090A KHC Fr Sean Breen Mem. S'ch (Ladies Cup)

The Stewards interviewed Mr L.J. Murphy, rider of Ballinasilla, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr L.J. Murphy was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned Mr L.J. Murphy.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. Hugh Hynes, that Mr R.W. Barron, rider of Blue Templar, had weighed in at 1.1 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had no problem at today's weight and had inadvertently forgotten to discard his gloves when weighing in. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr R.W. Barron was in breach of Rule 231. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr R.W. Barron for 2 racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Carrignagapple (GB) trained by Catherine Hamilton was found to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

Mr J.C. Barry, rider of Troll D'Oudairies (FR) trained by Daniel G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having felt lame.

The Stewards interviewed Mr T.P. Harney, rider of Any Time (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr T.P. Harney was in breach of R10(3)(b) by using his whip unnecessarily after his chance of winning or being placed was clearly gone and R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr T.P. Harney for 1 raceday.

090C Killashee H'cap H'dle

M.P. Walsh, rider of Sancta Simona (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled before being pulled up.

R. Walsh, rider of Buildmeupbuttercup (GB) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled before being pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Buildmeupbuttercup (GB), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Konitho (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. Hugh Hynes, that C. Brace, rider of Man Of Plenty (GB), weighed in at 1.3 lbs underweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was unable to account for the discrepancy as he had weighed out with a saddle and lead cloth and no amendments had been made since he weighed out. Mr Christian Leech, Authorised representative for Sophie Leech, trainer of Man Of Plenty (GB) was unable to furnish any reason as to how the loss of any weight had transpired since the time that he took the tack and saddled their charge. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that C. Brace was in breach of Rule 231 (i) by failing to draw the correct weight after the 1.0 lb allowance had been taken into account and in accordance with the provisions of this rule, Man Of Plenty (GB) was disqualified. The Stewards did not take any action against either party. The amended result now reads; First - Pearl Of The West, Second - Cosmo's Moon, Third - Mitchouka (FR), Fourth - La Sorelita (FR), Fifth - Dolciano Dici (FR), Sixth - Jan Maat (GER)..

090D BoyleSports Champion S'chase

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr Hugh Hynes, that R. Walsh, rider of Min (FR), had weighed in at 1.6 lbs overweight. R. Walsh was unable to offer any explanation. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that R. Walsh was in breach of Rule 231 and suspended him for 1 raceday having taken his previous record into consideration.

090E Goffs Land Rover Bumper

The Stewards enquired into an incident soon after the start involving Bulldoze, ridden by Ms L. O'Neill, unplaced, Fiston De Becon (FR), ridden by Mr D. O'Connor, unplaced, Champagne Diva, ridden by Mr M.J. O'Hare, unplaced and Papal Pearl, ridden by Mr L.J. McGuinness, placed third, where it appeared that Champagne Diva was hampered and collided with the rails. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by general bunching and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Son Of Camas (FR), trained by Nicky Henderson (in GB), at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.

The Stewards interviewed Miss M. O'Sullivan, rider of Nathaniel's Dream (GB), concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Miss M. O'Sullivan was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using her whip with excessive frequency. Having taken her previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Miss M. O'Sullivan for 2 racedays.

090F Dooley Insurance Champion Nov S'chase

D.J. Mullins, rider of Articulum trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having felt lame possibly as a result of a pulled shoe. Terence O'Brien subsequently confirmed to the Clerk of the Scales that Articulum had pulled a shoe.

090G Sanctuary Synthetics INH Flat Race

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Balagan (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.

The Stewards interviewed Mr F. Maguire, rider of Jungle Junction, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr F. Maguire was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his previous record, the Stewards cautioned Mr F. Maguire.

Mr A.J. Fox, rider of Surfing Tenor (GB) trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped during this race.
