091B Herald Champion Novice H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Yorkhill, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be Post Race Normal.

091C Killashee H'cap H'dle

P.A.Fahy, trainer of Western Boy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge suffered a cut as a result of falling in this race.

091E Goffs Land Rover Bumper

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the home turn involving Brelade (GB), ridden by Mr J.J. Codd, placed fourth and Moulin A Vent (GB), ridden by Ms N. Carberry, placed third, where it appeared Moulin A Vent (GB) suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion Mr J.J. Codd was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having taken his record into account, they suspended him for 1 raceday.

091F Growise Champion Novice S'chase

B.J. Geraghty, rider of Noble Endeavor trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't jump well and was pulled up.

091G Donohue Marquees INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Miss K. Harrington, rider of Someday (GB), placed second, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion Miss K. Harrington was in breach of Regulation 10 3 (f) in that she had used her whip with excessive frequency, and having taken her record into account, they suspended her for 2 racedays .
