The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr. H.D. Dunne replaced Mr. R. James on Duke Of Kilcorral, trained by M.P. Sunderland (Race 7)(injured)
Ms. S. O'Brien replaced Mr. T. Hamilton on Cornelius Sulla, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 7)(Stewards Permission)

083A KHC Fr Sean Breen Mem. S'ch (Ladies Cup)

The Stewards requested a report from Mr. H.D. Dunne, rider of Mia's Milan, who was unseated just before the first bend passing the stands. The rider reported that his mount stumbled independently for no apparent reason and unseated him. Having considered the report, the Stewards took no further action.

083E Goffs Land Rover Bumper

The Stewards interviewed Ms K. Walsh, rider of Hollowgraphic, concerning her use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that she used the whip with excessive frequency and having considered her record, cautioned her concerning her future responsibilities in this regard.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Fortune Street(FR), ridden by Mr B. O'Neill, Gallant John Joe, ridden by Mr R. Deegan, and Its Only A Dream, ridden by Mr J.J. O'Neill. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action.

083F Growise Champion Novice S'chase

D.J. Mullins, rider of Alpha Des Obeaux (FR) trained by M.F. Morris, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

083G Dooley Insurances INH Flat Race

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Musical Slave(Ire), ridden by Mr D. O'Connor, placed sixth, Speirling ridden by Mr R.O. Harding, unplaced, Stooshie ridden by Mr J.J. Codd, placed fifth, Texie Rexie ridden by Miss K. Harrington, unplaced, and Tower Bridge, ridden by Mr S. Clements, placed fourth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. Hugh Hynes, Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr S. Clements, rider of Tower Bridge, weighed in at 1.1 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record, cautioned him.
