The following trainer was fined €200 for the non-notification of a Veterinary Certificate in accordance with the provision of Rule 194(v) (vi):

313A RSM Farrell Grant Sparks H'cap H'dle

M.A. Enright, rider of Regal Athlete, trained by Leonard Whitmore, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake, lost his action and was pulled up.

313B Madigans Bars Craddockstown Novice S'ch

Seamus Roche, trainer of Jim Will Fix It, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge burst a blood vessel.

313E I.N.H. Stallion Owners EBF M'dn H'dle

Mr D. Skehan, rider of Nina's Witness, trained by Miss Elizabeth Anne Lalor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

D.J. Casey, rider of Catalan Cruz, trained by Paul Patrick Moloney, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left in running.

313G Dick Grainger Memorial(P-A)INH Flat Race

The Stewards received a report from Mr I. Hamilton , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr J.J. King , rider of Lieutenant Colonel (GB) , weighed in at 1.7 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had a drink after weighing out and this must have resulted in him weighing in overweight. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr J.J. King was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore suspended him for 1 raceday.
