The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

M.M. McDonagh replaced P.K. Donovan on Ballywilliam Boy, trained by Michael Hourigan (Race 1)(Stewards permission)
Ms A.B. O'Connor replaced Mr Pat Taaffe on Any Givin Sunday, trained by T.J. Taaffe (Race 7)(Unwell)

292A Sherry Fitzgerald Brady M'dn H'dle

D. Meyler, rider of Pani Problem (FR) trained by A.L.T.Moore, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran free during the early part of this race.

292B Stanley Asphalt H'cap H'dle

The Stewards fined Miss Ellmarie Holden, trainer, €65 for failing to fit cheek pieces to Presenting Sun, prior to entering the parade ring.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Badness Backfires, trained by Mrs Denise Foster, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Empirion trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount went lame in running and was pulled up quickly.

292C The K Club H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Scalino, trained by Anthony Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

A.W. Short, rider of Dasmyhoss trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having never travelled during this race.

292F Punchestown Ingoldsby (QR) H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bishops Quarter, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Mr J.J. Codd, rider of Bishops Quarter trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount galloped into the second fence and never travelled thereafter before becoming distanced and being pulled up.

292G Punchestown INH Flat Race

At the request of the Stewards, Mr J.J. Codd, rider of Mars Harper (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was hanging in the latter stages of this race.

The Stewards interviewed Mr E.P. O'Brien, rider of Sin A Bhfuil, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr E.P. O'Brien was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned Mr E.P. O'Brien on this occasion.
