The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B.J. Geraghty rode Spring Watch (reserve) , trained by M.F.Morris (Race 1)
Mr. D. Roche replaced Ms N. Carberry on Glenbervie (GB), trained by Michael Hourigan (Race 7)(Stewards' Permission, see enquiry)

111A Kildare Hunt Club M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined P.Meany, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Massini Boy, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

111B Punchestown For Events M'dn H'dle

D.J. Mullins, rider of Legal Lord (GB) trained by Seamus Neville, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel and was pulled up.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Incitatum, trained by J.G.Cosgrave, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled shortly after the road crossing and he became unseated.

111C Punchestown.com Hcap H'dle

P.T. Enright, rider of Massinis Adventure trained by Robert Tyner, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up lame but returned sound to the unsaddling area.

111D Panoramic Restaurant H'cap S'chase

The Stewards fined V. T. O'Brien, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Valours Minion, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

111E ATC Celebrating 25 Years Beginners S'ch

D.N. Russell, rider of Uncle Danny trained by John Queally, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was outpaced throughout.

S.A. Shortall, rider of Send For Slim, trained by Shane Nolan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.

111F Go Racing In Kildare H'cap S'chase

D.J. Mullins, rider of Fr Humphrey trained by Miss Mary Louise Hallahan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never jumped and was pulled up.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Night Sir, trained by Ms Helen P.Markham, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her reins broke approaching the second last.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Enniskillen, trained by Peter Maher, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left and jumped left throughout.

111G Racing Again On 1st June INH Flat Race

The Stewards received a request from M. Hourigan, trainer, to substitute his nominated rider, Ms N. Carberry, with Mr D. Roche on Glenbervie (GB) in this race. The trainer stated that due to a series of mix-ups he had inadvertently nominated Ms. N. Carberry to ride when she had not been available. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the rider substitution but found the trainer in breach of Reg 3 by nominating a rider where the availability of that rider had not been established and having considered his record, the Stewards imposed a fine of €200.

The Stewards enquired from the riders involved in an incident approximately two and half furlongs out involving Mount Tamborine, ridden by Miss K.J. Harrison, Play The Part, ridden by Mr K.E. Power and Shine In Dubai, ridden by Mr T.N. Brett, where it appeared Shine In Dubai slipped up and brought down Mount Tamborine and Play The Part. Miss K. J Harrison reported that a horse slipped up in front of her and she was brought down. Mr K.E. Power reported that a horse slipped up and slid across his path bringing him down. Mr T.N. Brett did not make a report as he was being attended to for his injuries.
