A.W. Shortt rode Shantou Warrior (reserve) , trained by Mrs Prunella Dobbs (Race 3)
C.A. Landers rode Ask Your Mother (reserve) , trained by Matthew J. Smith (Race 3)
P.T. Enright replaced J.S. McGarvey on Sizing Joshua, trained by M.F.Morris (Race 4)(Injured).
K. Brogan replaced J.R. Wildman on Yendo, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 7)(Injured)

026B INH Stallion Owners EBF Novice H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Prince D'Aubrelle (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

026C P.P.Hogan Memorial Cross Country S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ballycasey, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

D.J. McInerney, rider of Behind Time trained by E. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Behind Time, trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal was found to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

M.A. Enright, rider of Home Farm trained by Gearoid O'Loughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Home Farm, trained by Gearoid O'Loughlin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal
was found to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

026D David Trundley Artist H'cap H'dle

C.A. Landers, rider of Therellalwaysbeone trained by Thomas Foley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount had moved left on the approach to the final hurdle when taking a look at the wing.

The Stewards interviewed Kevin Walsh, Authorised representative of Miss Elizabeth Doyle, trainer of Sea Scorpion, regarding the late arrival of the horse into the Parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer's representative who stated that he was on his own today and had to unsaddle their charge when he found that the girth was too small and a replacement had to be sought. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards reminded Miss Elizabeth Doyle, through her representative, of her responsibility to comply with the provisions of Rule 32 (ii) and furthermore to ensure that she had enough staff when saddling runners in the future.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Treacysenniscorthy trained by Paul W. Flynn was lame post race.

026G Punchestown Festival (P-A) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cats For Cash, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

L.P. Gilligan, rider of Reasonable Doubt trained by Alan Fleming, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise in the straight.
