D.P. McDonogh, rider of Just Waterville trained by William Durkan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

380B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the final furlong involving Gossamer Wings (USA), ridden by D. O'Brien, and Usra, ridden by S. Foley, where it appeared Usra was forced to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found D. O'Brien in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day.

S. Foley, rider of Usra trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got tight for room in the final furlong.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Tennesse Waltz trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stood in stalls.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Griffyndor trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and made a slight respiratory noise.

380E Boyne H'cap

The Stewards interviewed C.D. Hayes, rider of Roses Queen, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg. 10. 3.(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency and having taken his record into account suspended him for two race days.

380F Mid Summer Raceday July 14th H'cap

R.P. Cleary, rider of Bay Of St Malo trained by Luke W. Comer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was carried off his line in the straight.

The Stewards interviewed R.C. Colgan, rider of Jensen, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Regulation 10. 3.(g) by using his whip with the arm above shoulder height and having taken his record into account suspended him for three race days.
