352A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auc M'dn

The Stewards fined Conor O'Dwyer, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Berlios, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Stewards enquired into two incidents, the first involving Berlios, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, unplaced, Clon Rocket, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced, Dodgybingo, ridden by C.P. Hoban, unplaced, Fair Game, ridden by F.M. Berry, placed fifth and Flirt, ridden by W.J. Lee, unplaced, where it appeared Berlios, Clon Rocket and Dodgybingo all ran short of room. The second incident involved Fair Game, Jealous Beauty, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, and Waterloo Bridge, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, placed second, where it appeared Fair Game ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that both incidents were accidental and took no further action.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Clon Rocket trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he was forced to check his mount after running short of room at the furlong pole

The Stewards informed T.G.McCourt, trainer that Zaindera, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

C.P. Hoban, rider of Elusive Sally trained by Ms. Ann R. Reilly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount moved poorly in the straight.

352F Bective Restaurant H'cap

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Nice Vintage, trained by Adrian Paul Keatley, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

K.J. Manning, rider of Leafy Approach trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was struck into in running.

W.J. Lee, rider of Lucie Rie trained by David Wachman, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference turning for home.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Nice Vintage trained by Adrian Paul Keatley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that the ground was too quick for his mount.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Shine On trained by P.D. Deegan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

S. Foley, rider of Boris Bike trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount changed his legs in the straight.

Gary Paul Halpin, rider of Masterchippy, trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran on in the closing stages after having to wait for a gap to appear.

352G Trimgate Street M'dn

S. Foley, rider of Sikandar trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was eased for a few strides at the top of the hill.
