The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R.C. Colgan rode Neddyvaughan (reserve) , trained by Padraig Roche (Race 6)
M.A. Enright replaced D.N. Russell on Westland Row, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 7)(Injured)

334A Red Mills (Mares) Auction M'dn H'dle

The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Gypsy Island, ridden by M.P. Walsh, and trained by Peter Fahey. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. M.P. Walsh, stated that his instructions were to take his time, settle his mount early on and do the best he could. He said his mount got very free passing the stands and as he tried to get cover and settle her, felt he was further back than he would have of liked. He said he was afraid his mount would do too much down the back and as a consequence not get home. Peter Fahey, confirmed the instruction giving and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. He also added that his charge can be very free and needed settling in her races. The Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that Gypsy Island was post race normal. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanations offered.

334D Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners S'ch

The Stewards wished to interview Ronan M.P. McNally, trainer of The Jam Man, regarding the late arrival of his charge into the parade ring. It transpired that Mr. McNally was not present, nor did he have an authorised representative present at this meeting. The Stewards therefore found M.P. McNally in breach of Rule 147 (v) for failing to appoint an authorised representative and imposed a fine of €130.00 on him. As there was no authorised representative capable of being interviewed by the Stewards concerning the late arrival into the parade ring, the Stewards referred the matter to the Referrals Committee.

334E Ladbrokes Troytown H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Spider Web, trained by Thomas Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Arkwrisht (FR) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount made a bad mistake and pulled up thereafter.

334G Coolmore NH Sires EBF (M) INH Flat Race

Mr L. O'Carroll, rider of Gemma's Flame trained by Hugh Paul Finegan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her action and pulled up thereafter.

Mr A.J. Fox, rider of Wait For No One, trained by David Fenton, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount pulled up injured.

334H navanracecourse.ie M'dn H'dle

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Momus trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Momus, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

P.Cluskey, trainer of Knockatoo Hill, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge scoped with mucus post race.
