The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Miss Rachel Blackmore replaced A. Ring on Cross To Boston, trained by P.J. Rothwell (Race 6)(Stewards permission)

017A 2015 Navan Membership M'dn H'dle

Mr J.C. Barry, rider of Round Tower, trained by Karl Thornton, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung right in running.

D.N. Russell, rider of Stony Grey trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

The Stewards requested a report from C.F. Swan, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Rogue Trader, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge jumped poorly and raced freely on his first start over hurdles at Leopardstown. He added that the horse travelled well before emptying in the straight. He concluded by saying that today's drop in both trip and class helped his charge to show improved form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards accepted the explanation offered.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Stony Grey, trained by A. Oliver, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Backinthesaddle, trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a few mistakes early on and stayed on well in the closing stages.

P. Townend, rider of Daneking (GB), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not act on the ground.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Daneking (GB), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.N. Russell, rider of Buck Dancing trained by Edward P.Harty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

017D Meath H'cap H'dle

J.J. Burke, rider of Seamus Mor trained by Colin Kidd, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Raystown trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Travel Ogue, trained by Robert Tyner, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

017F Simonstown H'cap S'chase

Peter L. Kavanagh, trainer of Town Pond, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge never travelled.

017G Trim (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr D.G. Lavery, rider of Illuminati (FR), concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he used the whip with excessive frequency and having considered his record, suspended him for one race day,
