D.F. O'Regan replaced D.N. Russell on Sanibel Island, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 3)(Injured)
R. Walsh replaced B.J. Cooper on A Toi Phil (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 4)(Injured)
P.T. Enright replaced D.N. Russell on Nearly Nama'd, trained by Ms. Sandra Hughes (Race 4)(Injured)
D.F. O'Regan replaced D.N. Russell on Jetstream Jack, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 5)(Injured)
Ms K. Walsh replaced Mr P.W. Mullins on Four Alfie, trained by W.P. Mullins (Race 7)(Unwell)

049A Bective Restaurant M'dn H'dle

D. Meyler, rider of Private Ledger trained by A.L.T.Moore, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left during this race.

049D Webster Cup S'chase

L.P. Dempsey, rider of Double Seven trained by Martin Brassil, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race and was pulled up.

The Stewards requested a report from Gordon Elliott, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of A Toi Phil (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent run. Gordon Elliot reported that his charge had run in a Grade 1 race at Leopardstown on the 12th February where he was beaten at the second last fence and struggled home from that point whereas today he was dropped in class to a Grade 2 race. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

049E Irish Stallion Farms EBF Nov. H'cap S'ch

The Stewards received a report from P.L. Malone , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that D.E. Splaine , rider of Mick The Jiver (GB) , weighed in at 1.3 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he was doing a light weight and had a small drink after weighing out and furthermore his clothing was holding some kickback after the race. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that D.E. Splaine was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore cautioned him.

049F www.navanracecourse.ie H'cap S'chase

The Stewards requested a report from Francis J. Flood, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Sunsetstorise, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Francis J. Flood reported that a combination of the application of first time cheekpieces, the heavy underfoot conditions and the small field of runners were contributing factors to the improved performance. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

049G Navan Race Members (Pr-Am) INH Flat Race

R.A. Doyle, rider of Beyond The Law trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung very badly during this race.
