112A Coolmore Stud Power Stakes

The Stewards requested a report from A.P.O'Brien, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Washington DC, winner, as compared with its most recent run at Ascot on 27th April, where he finished 7th of 9 runners, beaten 7 lengths on going that was officially Good to Soft, Good in places.
Joseph O'Brien, authorised representative of the trainer concerned reported that their horse was previously very impressive at Dundalk, and a return to a quicker racing surface today may have brought about any apparent improvement in form.
Having considered the report, the Stewards noted it's contents.

112B Requinto EBF M'dn

The Stewards informed K.J. Condon, trainer that Magnification, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Callender trained by P.J.Prendergast, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount's saddle slipped coming out of stalls.

112D Excelebration M'dn

The Stewards fined D. K. Weld, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Magnolia Rose, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

112G Pour Moi EBF M'dn

The Stewards fined Georgios Pakidis, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Kookaburra Charlie, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Waarif, trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran short of room and lost 2 shoes during this race.
