The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

C.A.McBratney, trainer of Caerleon Kate (GB) (off feed) - €200

337A Kells M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined Patrick Downey, trainer of Master Vega, €350 having not lodged the passport in time for this horse, which resulted in the horse being withdrawn from this race.

337B After The Races Party (Mares) M'dn H'dle

D.J. Mullins, rider of Freeway Space trained by David M.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung in the closing stages.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Three Swallowsnick, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

Roger Joseph McGrath, trainer of Miss Eyecatcher, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped badly post race.

The Stewards fined Karl Thornton, trainer of Keady Lady, €350 having not lodged the passport in time for this horse, which resulted in the horse being withdrawn from this race.

The Stewards fined Charles O'Brien, trainer, €65 for failing to fit a tongue tie to Naughty But Nice, prior to entering the parade ring.

Roger Joseph McGrath, trainer of Miss Eyecatcher, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Monday 9th January that his charge has had a wind operation since her last run.

337C Drogheda H'cap H'dle

The Stewards fined Noel Lawlor, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Herbiegoesbananas, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Stewards interviewed M.P. Fogarty, rider of Circe's Island, trained by Thomas Gibney, concerning the fact that having pulled up he continued on and crossed the finish line with a number of runners who had completed the course. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Rule 215 and cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities to follow the correct pulling up procedures.

The Stewards fined Thomas Gibney, trainer, €350 for failing to lodge a passport in respect of Circe's Island. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

337E Mervyn Gray Construction Beginners S'ch

The Stewards interviewed Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, trainer, in relation to the saddling of Larry Capri, and Court Adjourned, in this race. It appeared that the respective saddles were placed on the incorrect horses. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the trainer was in breach of Regulation 12 and having considered his clean record,cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.

R. Walsh, rider of Rathvinden trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered at the second fence and was later pulled up.

337F Foxrock H'cap S'chase

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Ttebbob, at the request of trainer, Mrs John Harrington, and reported the animal blowing hard post race.

337G T&J Gavigan Estate Agents INH Flat Race

Anthony McCann, trainer of Shabrasupmonaghan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was found to have mucous on endoscopic examination post race.
