The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Charles O'Brien, trainer of Sharp Operator (GB) (going) - €200
Charles O'Brien, trainer of Sharp Operator (GB) (late withdrawal) - €320
J.C.Hayden, trainer of William Ashford (going) - €200
J.C.Hayden, trainer of William Ashford (late withdrawal where reserve was denied a run) - €320

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.D. Hayes replaced W.M. Lordan on Lady Argentum, trained by Thomas Gibney (Race 1)(stewards permission).
W.J. Lee replaced W.M. Lordan on Fascinating Lady, trained by Madeleine Tylicki (Race 4)(stewards permission)

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Specific Gravity (FR), ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed third, Adimelo (FR), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second and Lady Argentum, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fourth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action

T.P. Madden, rider of Missguided, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that the ground was too quick for his mount.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Missguided, trained by Peter Fahey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

148D Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

C.J. McGovern, rider of Ken's Sam's trained by Adrian Brendan Joyce, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action in running.

148F Racing Again June 28th H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Archibald Thorburn trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was checked badly shortly after the stalls and almost fell.

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving A Likely Story, ridden by L.F. Roche, Rose Anjou (GB), ridden by R.P. Whelan, Colombe Bleu (GB), ridden by K.P. Moriarty, Tom Dooley, ridden by C.D. Hayes and Archibald Thorburn, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, where it appeared Archibald Thorburn ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that K.P. Moriarty was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his previous good record in this regard, the Stewards suspended him for three racedays.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Birds Of Prey trained by John M. Oxx, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount misbehaved badly in the stalls.
