The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

M.P. Fogarty replaced M.J. Ferris on Sweet Company, trained by A.J.Martin (Race 4)(Injury)

305B Brady Family Ham Poplar Square S'chase

The Stewards enquired into possible interference after the last fence involving Sizing Granite, ridden by J.J. Burke, placed second and Devils Bride, ridden by D.J. Mullins, placed first, where it appeared Devils Bride crossed Sizing Granite on the run to the line. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

305C Courtyard Hotel Supp Kildare GAA H'dle

R. Walsh, rider of Daisy's Gift, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount burst a blood vessel in this race.

305D Weatherbys Ireland GSB Beginners S'chase

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined My Hometown, trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
Samples were taken for analysis.

305E Tegral Kildare GAA Brown Lad H'cap H'dle

J.J. Burke, rider of Back Off Mate trained by A.L.T.Moore, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

John E. Kiely, trainer of Cairde Aris, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was found to have lost a shoe on post race examination

305F Palmerstown House Estate H'cap H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Fill Your Hands, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be suffering from a cut to its right foreleg.

305G Kildare Failte Kildare GAA(P-A)Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Massini Boy, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Mr. J.P. O'Sullivan in breach of Reg 10 3. by continuing to use his whip after his chance of winning or being placed had clearly gone and having taken his record into account, the Stewards cautioned him regarding his future whip use.
