The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Adrian Brendan Joyce, trainer of True Companion (Declared in Error) - €200

206A Billy's Bus Supporting Naas Hurling Race

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Mirdif (GB), trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

206B Revamp Supporting Naas Hurling M'dn

M.C. Hussey, rider of Lucys Angel, trained by Damian Joseph English, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount changed its legs in the course of this race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Lucys Angel, trained by Damian Joseph English, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed post race.

206C KC Civil Engineering Naas Hurling H'cap

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the final furlong and a half involving Captain Power, ridden by R.P. Downey, placed first, Falcao, ridden by C. O'Donoghue, placed fourth and Dark Alliance, ridden by S. Foley, placed second. E. Lynam, trainer, and M. Halford trainer also attended this enquiry. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned and from E.Lynam trainer. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Dark Alliance had suffered accidental interference caused by the drift of Captain Power towards the outside and were also satisfied that due to this interference Captain Power had improved its position in relation to Dark Alliance and consequently reversed the Judge's placings of the first two horses.

The amended result now reads;
1st Dark Alliance
2nd Captain Power
3rd Falcao
4th Rattling Jewel
5th I Will Excel
6th Fast In The Wind.

206D Kildare Post Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the final furlong involving Peacehaven, ridden by D.P. Linehan, placed second, Danz Gift, ridden by D.M. Redmond, unplaced, Accalia, ridden by T.P. Madden, placed second, My Good Brother, ridden by E.T. Daly, placed sixth, Strategic Heights, ridden by C.P. McNamara, unplaced and Mr Bounty (GB), ridden by K.J. Leonard, placed third. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned in the presence of J.P. Murtagh with D.P. Linehan, Shane Lyons with E.T. Daly, H. Rogers with C.P. McNamara, and J.C. Hayden with K.J. Leonard. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action other than to advise T.P. Madden to ride with more care in future.

206E Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards fined Ms. Sheila Lavery, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Desert Dancer, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

206F(i) Palmerstown House Anne Brewster H'cap (Division One)

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the final furlong involving Set To Fire, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, Matriarch, ridden by W.J. Lee, and D'Rock, ridden by C.P. Hoban, where it appeared Set To Fire and Matriarch suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards deemed the incident to be accidental in nature and took no further action.

W.J. Lee, rider of Matriarch trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount suffered interference and he was forced to snatch up close to the line.

206F(ii) Palmerstown House Anne Brewster H'cap (Division Two)

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Bad Penny, ridden by S. Foley, Don Elias (FR), ridden by M.C. Hussey, and Ten Star Lion, ridden by D.M. Grant, where it appeared Bad Penny and Don Elias (FR) ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found D.M. Grant in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record into account the Stewards cautioned D.M. Grant regarding his future riding.

M.C. Hussey, rider of Don Elias (FR) trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was squeezed in the final furlong.

K.J. Manning, rider of Gealan trained by J.T.Gorman, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action.

206G Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Surprisingly, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
