I.J.McCarthy rode A Fine Young Mare (reserve) , trained by Michael Winters (Race 3)
P.Townend replaced R.P. Treacy on Tough But Honest, trained by E. McNamara (Race 4)(injured)
A.Ring replaced J.P. O'Sullivan on Jimmyjames (GB), trained by P.J. Rothwell (Race 4)(unwell)
J.M.Moore rode Boher Call (reserve) , trained by Paul W. Flynn (Race 6)
D.E. Splaine replaced A.E. Lynch on Queen Khaleesi, trained by Patrick Neville (Race 4)(injured).
D.F. O'Regan replaced A.E. Lynch on Toon River, trained by Miss Mary Louise Hallahan (Race 5)(injured)

133A Kingdom (Mares) M'dn H'dle

A.E. Lynch, rider of Hexapod trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst blood vessels(confirmed by Turf club vet).

P.W. O'Reilly, rider of Meadow Blaze trained by William Hayes, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

133B John B. Keane (C & G) M'dn H'dle

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Fort Montagu (FR) trained by John W. Nicholson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly in the closing stages.

133C1 Harvest Fest. 10th-16th Sept H'cap H'dle

D.E. Splaine, rider of Overbury Prince trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Silver Planeur (FR), ridden by P.Townend, Millen Dollar Man, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, and My Pollyanna, ridden by B. Browne. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards gave P.Townend the benefit of the doubt and took no further action.

133C2 Harvest Fest. 10th-16th Sept H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into the apparent improvement in form of Davids Charm, trained by John J. Walsh, placed, first compared with its recent form. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that the horse has been running poorly on soft ground over the winter and today's better ground suited. He also stated that the horse tends to run around and the application of cheekpieces today seemed to help the horse concentrate. He further added that his yard is coming into form having been under a cloud for the last eight months. Evidence was also heard from Mr.Andrew Shaw, Turf Club National Hunt Handicapper who stated that today's win represented significant improvement on recent form. He noted that the horse was subject to a running and riding enquiry on his first start in Killarney last year. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanations offered.

133E John J. Galvin H'cap S'chase

The Stewards fined Mrs D.A. Love, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Lucky Pat, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Killiney Court trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the fouth last fence.

133F Listowel Supporters Club Hunters S'chase

The Stewards received a request from Ms. M.M. Gannon, trainer of Dantes King, to substitute the nominated rider Mr R. Kavanagh, with Mr J.J.O'Neill, due to the nominated rider being unable to do the weight. The Stewards allowed the request and subsequently interviewed Mr.R Kavanagh. Having considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr.Kavanagh was in breach of Rule 195(i) and having considered his record in this regard, issued a fine of €150.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Miss Colleen Murphy, that Mr W.J. Gleeson, rider of Just Wait And See,placed fifth, failed to weigh in. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Just Wait and See in accordance with Rule 230(ii)and found the rider to be in breach of Rule 227(i) and having considered his clean record, suspended him for two race days. Furthermore the Stewards amended the judge's placings to read:
First: Freewheelin Dylan
Second: Minella For Value
Third: Red River Gold
Fourth: Island Master
Fifth: Sizing Solution.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sizing Solution, trained by J.T.R. Dreaper, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
