The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Patrick Neville, trainer of Iusetaluvheronce (change in going) - €200
Patrick Neville, trainer of Rockshandy (change in going) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

K.J. Brouder rode Old Time Melody (reserve), trained by Thomas Cooper (Race 3)
R. Loughran replaced J.S. McGarvey on Marchese Marconi, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 6)(injured)

258A John Lynch Memorial M'dn H'dle

B.J. Cooper, rider of Anguino (FR) trained by Thomas Cooper, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped poorly.

258C Tote H'cap H'dle

P.T. Enright, rider of Spirit Of The Rain trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount gurgled badly and pulled up thereafter.

258D M.J. Carroll ARRO H'cap H'dle

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Marygale Bridge trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount choked down the back and stopped quickly.

258E North Kerry Tyre Centre (QR) Hcap Schase

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P.L. Malone, that Mr. R.W. Barron, rider of Black Scorpion, had weighed in at 1.2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards found the rider to be in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record, suspended him for 2 racedays.

258F Charlie Chute Memorial H'cap S'chase

The Stewards fined Patrick Neville, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Tulpar, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Stewards fined James Joseph Mangan, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Montys Meadow, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

D.N. Russell, rider of Montys Meadow trained by James Joseph Mangan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount emptied quickly and was pulled up thereafter.

258G Allman Contracts Ltd. Novice S'chase

D.N. Russell, rider of Sea Light trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise in running.

The Stewards granted permission for the sixth fence to be omitted in this race owing to ground conditions.
