The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B.J. Cooper rode For Pedro (reserve) , trained by Thomas Cooper (Race 3)

260A John Lynch Memorial M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined W.P. Mullins, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Panther Soul, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Panther Soul in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (iv).

260D M.J. Carroll ARRO H'cap H'dle

P. Townend, rider of Smitty Bacall trained by J.R. Barry, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and was never really going.

260E Shanahan Power (QR) H'cap S'chase

Owing to ground conditions, the Stewards granted permission for this race to be started by way of a flag start.

The Stewards interviewed Mr M.J. O'Connor, rider of Ruben Cotter, trained by Peter Maher, concerning the nature of his riding when continuing to race when being completely detached from the field and falling at the first fence in the back straight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his instructions were to complete the 3 mile course, and prior to falling he felt that he his mount would be capable to stay on. Evidence was also heard from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board assistant clerk of the course, Mr. P.F. Graffin. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. M.J. O'Connor was in breach of Rule 272 in that his conduct was prejudicial to the integrity, proper conduct and good reputation of horseracing. Having considered Mr. M.J. O' Connor's previous record in this regard, the Stewards suspended him for seven (7) racedays.

Peter Maher, trainer of Ruben Cotter, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge had burst a blood vessel.

260F Charlie Chute Memorial H'cap S'chase

M.P. Walsh, rider of Act In Time trained by Padraig Roche, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and pulled up thereafter.

260G Allman Contracts Ltd. Novice S'chase

P. Townend, rider of Cap D'Aubois (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped indifferently.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Minella Beau trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the fourth fence.
