The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Damian Joseph English, trainer of Tribal Path (transport difficulties) - €200
Adrian McGuinness, trainer of Beau Satchel (GB) (off feed) - €200

281A Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the opening of the stalls involving Machiavelli (GB), ridden by D.P. Linehan, placed sixth and Bronze Age, ridden by S. Foley, placed second, where it appeared that Bronze age moved across before reaching the marker poles causing Machiavelli to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found S. Foley to be in breach of Rule 211, in that he moved across before reaching the marker poles, and Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his previous records in both regards, the Stewards suspended S. Foley for 1 raceday in relation to Rule 214 and fined him €100 in relation to Rule 211.

281C At The Races App Munster Mile H'cap

The Stewards interviewed D.E. Hogan, rider of Not A Bad Oul Day, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found D.E. Hogan to be in breach of Regulation 10.3 (f) in that he used his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended D.E. Hogan for 4 racedays.

281D Munster National Tomorrow Apprentice Hcp

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Muroor (GB), ridden by D.E. Hogan, unplaced, Constable Buckley (GB), ridden by D.P. Linehan, placed fourth and Algebra (GB), ridden by T.P. Madden, unplaced, where it appeared that Constable Buckley may have run short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any incident was accidental in nature and took no further action.

281E Martin Molony Stakes

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Zawraq, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on his right fore leg post race.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Zawraq trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up lame.

281F Irish Racing Calendar 2018 Race

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sorelle Delle Rose, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

281G(i) Follow Limerick Racecourse Facebook Hcap (Division One)

S. Foley, rider of Honour Roll trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never acted on the ground.

The Stewards interviewed K.J. Leonard, rider of Tennesse Waltz, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found K.J. Leonard to be in breach of Regulation 10.3 (f) in that he used his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended K.J. Leonard for 1 raceday.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sea Of Hope, trained by Adrian Paul Keatley, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.

281G(ii) Follow Limerick Racecourse Facebook Hcap (Division Two)

S.P. Davis, rider of Tom Dooley trained by F.Costello, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount missed a break.

The Stewards received a report from the Turf Club Veterinary Officer that Sherbert (GB) trained by Jonathan Fogarty had failed to arrive at the Racecourse within the designated time. The Stewards were unable to contact Johnathan Fogarty to conduct an enquiry and consequently ordered the withdrawal of Sherbert under the provisions of Rule 19 (ii), and referred the matter to the Chief Executive of the Turf Club for further investigation.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Compass Hill (USA) trained by John Joseph Murphy was lame on his right fore leg having pulled his right fore shoe.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Compass Hill (USA) trained by John Joseph Murphy was lame on his right forelimb post race having pulled a shoe.
