The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

P.D. Kennedy replaced C.M. Collins on Isabella Liberty (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 6)(injured)

062A National Student Raceday (M) M'dn Hdle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined For Syl, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P.F. Mangan, rider of Lily Of Leysbourne (GB), trained by James Joseph Mangan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very green and hung throughout before staying on in the closing stages.

062B INH Stallion Owners EBF M'dn H'dle

The Stewards received a report from the Turf Club Veterinary Officer concerning the fact that the vaccinations contained in the passport for Drumconnor Lad, trained by Adrian Paul Keatley were incorrect for the second successive occasion. In accordance with Rule 90, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Drumconnor Lad and fined the trainer €350.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Sizinguptheamazon trained by J.T.R. Dreaper was found to be lame on the left fore and to have pulled a shoe on the right fore post race.

A.J. McNamara, trainer of Ten Fourteen, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Friday 7th April that his charge was found to be lame post race.

062C www.limerickraces.ie (Mares) H'cap H'dle

J.M. Moore, rider of Pyrford Pippin trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled on the ground and was pulled up thereafter.

M.A. Enright, rider of Swift trained by John W. Nicholson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made mistakes and was pulled up thereafter.

062D Martinstown Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Stewards attempted to enquire from C. M. Collins, rider of Orchard Road (USA), who fell on the flat on the approach to the second last hurdle, but were unable to do so as the rider was receiving medical attention. In light of this, the Stewards sought the opinion of other riders who were in close proximity to the fall and it was collectively agreed that Orchard Road (USA) slipped up independently for no apparent reason. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the incident, the Stewards took no further action.

062E Greenmount Park Beginners S'chase

P.E. Corbett, rider of Captain Bizarro trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

062F Follow Limerick On Facebook (M) Hcp S'ch

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cerca Trova, trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have sustained significant skin abrasions to both hind limbs in running.

J.M. Moore, rider of Cerca Trova trained by J.T.R. Dreaper, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped poorly throughout and was pulled up thereafter.

The Stewards requested a report from Liam Casey, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Carole Rose, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that a combination of a drop back in trip in what he felt was a weaker contest, had in his opinion, brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
