The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S.W.Flanagan rode Run For Ger (reserve) , trained by David Edward Finn (Race 3)
P.E.Corbett rode Westfield King (reserve) , trained by Ms. Debbie Hartnett (Race 5)
Paul Townend replaced B.T. O'Connell on Akito (FR), trained by J.R. Barry (Race 5)(injured)

170A Limerick Racecourse Family Fun M'dn H'dl

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined MacBride, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be making an abnormal respiratory noise post race.

170B Johnny Brady Country Music Rated H'dle

R.M. Power, rider of Voluptueux (FR), trained by Kevin McDonagh, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly in the straight.

170C Irishinjuredjockeys.com H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the second last hurdle involving Dramatic Event, ridden by B.T. O'Connell, faller, Diamondgeezer Luke, ridden by P.E. Corbett, placed fifth, Fleurys Fort, ridden by R.P. Treacy, placed first and Crocodile Dundee, ridden by B.J. Cooper, placed third. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action.

M.A. Enright, rider of Free Scorpion, trained by Michael Hourigan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped quickly and was pulled up.

170D Supermacs Dooradoyle S'chase

P. Townend, rider of Vedettariat (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount finished lame.

170F Galway Plate Trial H'cap Sch

The Stewards requested a report from Henry de Bromhead, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of The King Of Brega, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge disappointed on his last start in Ballinrobe when he seemed unsuited by both the track and by being held up. The horse seemed to get into a much better rhythm today up front, wearing cheekpieces for the first time. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

John J Costello, trainer of Final Gift, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Tuesday 12th July that his charge was found to have a respiratory infection when examined by a veterinary surgeon on 7th July.
