The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L.P. Gilligan rode Nevergurny (reserve), trained by Paul John Gilligan (Race 2)

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Captain Doran, trained by S.J.Mahon, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.

337B Adare Manor Opportunity M'dn H'dle

Owing to a request from broadcasters, the Stewards granted permission for the following race delays;
Race 4 + 2 minutes,
Race 5 + 2 minutes,
Race 6 + 2 minutes,
Race 7 + 2 minutes.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P.L. Malone, that L.P. Gilligan, rider of Nevergurny, had weighed in at 2.4 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that L.P. Gilligan was in breach of Rule 231. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended L.P. Gilligan for 2 racedays.

At the request of the Stewards, D.P. Maxwell, rider of Classic Concorde, trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran one paced throughout.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Nevergurny trained by Paul John Gilligan was found to be lame on the left fore post race.

337C Fexco Asset Finance H'cap H'dle

L.P. Gilligan, rider of Bay Hill trained by Padraig Roche, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bay Hill, trained by Padraig Roche, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

337D Annual Membership Rated Novice H'dle

The Stewards interviewed G.N. Fox, rider of A Place Apart, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that G.N. Fox was in breach of Regulation 10. 3(c) in that he had used his whip unnecessarily after clearly obtaining his maximum placing. Having taken his record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned G.N. Fox on this occasion.

S.A. Shortall, rider of Commandant trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly three out.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Commandant, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

337F Limerick Facebook Opportunity H'cap Hdle

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Khudha, trained by Alan Fleming, for failing to lodge the passport in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).
