The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

P.E. Corbett replaced C.A. Landers on The Mulcare Rover, trained by Mrs D.A.Love (Race 5)(Injured)

129A Tote Goes Twilight Racing M'dn H'dle

The Stewards enquired into possible interference on the approach to the penultimate hurdle involving Brog Ahaon, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed fourth, Poseidon, ridden by D.N. Russell, placed second, Sticky Situation, ridden by Katie O'Farrell, placed third and World Stage, ridden by R.A. Doyle, placed fifth, where it appeared that Poseidon was impeded when challenging between horses. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings. Furthermore the Stewards were satisfied that the actions of World Stage caused the interference but deemed it to be accidental in nature and therefore took no further action.

129C Play The Tote Superfecta H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Casadel Sol, trained by Kieran Purcell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on his left foreleg post race.

129D Tote Supporting Irish Racing H'cap H'dle

The Stewards fined Gavin Cromwell, trainer, €65 for failing to fit cheek pieces to Aasleagh Dawn, prior to entering the parade ring.

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the downhill run about three furlongs from the finish involving The Big Lense, ridden by K. Brogan, placed fifth, On Call, ridden by S.A. Shortall, placed fourth, Shetland Bus (GER), ridden by B.J. Cooper, placed sixth and Bridies Boy, ridden by P.T. Enright, unplaced, where it appeared that Bridies Boy ran short of room when racing close to the running rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by S.A. Shortall riding carelessly, this being a breach of Rule 214. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended S.A. Shortall for 2 racedays.

129E Sign Up For A Tote Account Beg. S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Invincible Cave, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a small wound on his left hind heel otherwise he was post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jack Dillinger, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

129G Bet With Tote At Limerick H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Afatcat (GB) trained by S.J.Mahon was found to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

R.P. Treacy, rider of Afatcat (GB) trained by S.J.Mahon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having burst a blood vessel.

At the request of the Stewards, S.W. Flanagan, rider of Ballybrowney Walk (FR), trained by James Joseph Mangan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount met with accidental interference in the straight.

At the request of the Stewards, Mr T. Hamilton, rider of Whatsinthecorner, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he lost an iron when his mount was impeded by a faller at the third last fence.

At the request of the Stewards, K.J. Brouder, rider of Sanibel Island, trained by S.J.Mahon, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he lost an iron when his mount was impeded by a faller at the third last fence.
