354D Ladbrokes Rated Novice S'chase

The Stewards requested a report from Michael Hourigan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Undressed (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge had made a bad mistake down the back on the previous run which was a Grand National trial and a race that was ran at a faster pace. He felt that a combination of a very clean round of jumping, a slow early pace and a track that his charge had showed a liking for having won here in the past, had brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
