358A Goggin Buckley M'dn H'dle

S.A. Shortall, rider of Romella trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jammed-on at the start losing ground.

G.N. Fox, rider of Earl Of Bunnacurry trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly throughout.

358B David Fitzgerald (Mares) M'dn H'dle

S.G. McDermott, rider of Trees Valley, trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last.

The Stewards requested a report from Henry de Bromhead, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Cool Saint (FR), placed first, as compared with its most recent run. The trainer's representative reported that this mare's last run was its first since January and she possibly needed the run and appreciated the step up in trip today. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rapid Response (FR), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R.M. Power, rider of Rapid Response (FR) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount found today's going too soft.

358C Woodlands Hotel Adare H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Hussle Up, ridden by Katie O'Farrell, placed fourth, Miss Echrad, ridden by J.P. O'Sullivan, placed second and Chosen Flower, ridden by P.T. Enright, placed fifth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings but found J.P. O'Sullivan to be in breach of Rule 214 by riding improperly and having taken his record in this regard into account suspended him for four race days.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. P.L. Malone , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Miss Echrad, weighed-in at 1.2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had accumulated a significant amount of mud on himself during the race and that this accounted for the overweight. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards gave the rider the benefit of the doubt on this occasion and took no further action.

The Stewards interviewed J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Miss Echrad, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg. 10.4. by failing to give his mount time to respond and having taken his previous record in this regard into account cautioned the rider.

D.G. Hogan, rider of Neatly Put (GB), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last and emptied.

358D Roches Feeds H'cap H'dle

C.A. Landers, rider of Therellalwaysbeone, trained by Thomas Foley, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount emptied in the straight.

358E Tim Duggan Memorial H'cap S'chase

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the home turn involving Nearly Nama'd, ridden by B. Browne, Kylecrue, ridden by Mr L. Quinlan, and De Benno, ridden by C.A. Landers, where it appeared De Benno ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found B. Browne in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record in this regard into account suspended him for one race day.

A. Ring, rider of Damut, trained by Michael Winters, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

358F Earl of Harrington Mem.M'dn Hunters S'ch

The Stewards interviewed Mr C.J. Daniels, rider of Follow The Moon, in relation to his riding in the straight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he felt his mount had run his race and he elected to pull up before two out, however as he went to pull up, his mount found a second wind and tried to jump the fence. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

358G ConverMax Rated Novice H'dle

At the request of the Stewards, G.N. Fox, rider of Ming Dynasty (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount gurgled and did not stay.

At the request of the Stewards, D. Robinson, rider of Put The Kettle On, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount didn't appreciate today's going.
