The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

R.P. McNamara, trainer of Ratoute Yutty (GB) (late withdrawal) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

I.J. McCarthy replaced J.S. McGarvey on Naughty But Nice, trained by Charles O'Brien (Race 3)(Injured)
I.J. McCarthy replaced J.S. McGarvey on Vent De La Cote (FR), trained by Martin Brassil (Race 5)(Injured)
A.E. Lynch replaced J.S. McGarvey on Wait Here, trained by Augustine Leahy (Race 7)(injured)

350A Goggin Buckley M'dn H'dle

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Double Portrait trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly and pulled up.

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for the omission of the third last hurdle in this race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Double Portrait, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Young Paddymc trained by Thomas Gibney was found to have pulled its right hind shoe post race.

350B David Fitzgerald (Mares) M'dn H'dle

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for the omission of the third last hurdle in this race.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Cut The Mustard (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a mistake at the fourth last hurdle.

L.P. Gilligan, rider of Queen Barack trained by Donal Hassett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cut The Mustard (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race. Samples were taken for analysis.

350C BRC McMahon Reinforcements H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed Eric Larkin, trainer, in relation to the late arrival of his charge, Oakfield Rose, into the parade ring for this race. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned, who stated that his rider was delayed while weighing out. As a result, and in addition to having difficulties fitting a tongue tie, he was badly delayed. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered and reminded Eric Larkin of his future responsibilities in this regard.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Pause And Ponder, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled its right fore shoe, and was lame on the right fore limb post race.

Mr M.J.M. O'Sullivan, rider of Machine Head (USA) trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Machine Head (USA), trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have had blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage post race.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Pause And Ponder trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

E.T. Daly, rider of Rock On Barney trained by G.T.Lynch, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got very tired on the ground and pulled up.

350D Roches Feeds H'cap H'dle

A.E. Lynch, rider of Boru Boy trained by G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up having gurgled.

D.J. McInerney, rider of Tristram Shandy trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up after losing a front shoe.

C.M. Leonard, rider of No Pressure Pat trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Boru Boy trained by G. Murphy was found to have pulled its right fore shoe post race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Tristram Shandy trained by E. McNamara was found to have pulled its left fore shoe post race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Emmas Dilemma trained by Miss Elizabeth Doyle was found to have pulled its right hind shoe post race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Emmas Dilemma trained by Miss Elizabeth Doyle was found to have pulled its right hind shoe post race.

350E Tim Duggan Memorial H'cap S'chase

P.T. Enright, rider of Toon River trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

The Stewards interviewed John Queally, trainer, in relation to the late arrival of his charge, Uncle Danny, into the parade ring for this race. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned,who stated that his rider was late weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered and took no further action. The Stewards subsequently interviewed D.E. Mullins, rider of Uncle Danny, and reminded him of his responsibilities to weigh out in good time.
