The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.E. Mullins rode Flemenstorm (reserve), trained by Edward Cawley (Race 5)

350A David Fitzgerald -Take It Easee Mdn Hdle

T.Hogan, trainer of Dorans River, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge scoped badly post race.

350C Tim Duggan Memorial H'cap S'chase

The Stewards received a report from Turf Club Starter, Mr. D. Cullen, that A. McCurtin, rider of Page Turner put his horse into a canter with a view to taking an advantage at the start which resulted in a false start. Evidence was heard from the starter and rider concerned. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards found A. McCurtin in breach of Rule 208 by putting his mount into a canter with a view to taking an advantage and suspended him for two race days.

Edward Cawley, trainer of Flemenstorm, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Wednesday 4th January that his charge was found to have a bacterial infection post race.

350D Roches Feeds H'cap H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sea Scorpion, trained by Miss Elizabeth Doyle, at the request of the Stewards and was found to have lost its right front shoe.

350E BRC McMahon Reinforcements H'cap H'dle

B.T. O'Connell, rider of Fly Round The Bend, trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled on the ground.

R.P. Treacy, rider of Mackey Boy, trained by Patrick Neville, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

Seamus Fahey, trainer of Black Ice, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped wrong post race.
