R.P. Cleary, rider of Barrys Girl trained by Daniel William O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was checked going to the line which may have cost him a place.

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Realtin Geal (USA), ridden by K.J. Manning, and Smiling Eliza, ridden by G.P. Halpin, where it appeared Smiling Eliza ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that K.J. Manning was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record, severely cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard. Furthermore, the Stewards severely cautioned G.P. Halpin, concerning the accuracy of his evidence.

The Stewards interviewed W.J. Lee, rider of Amenette, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards found that W.J. Lee was in breach of Rule 211 and having considered his record, issued a fine of €100.

The Stewards interviewed K.K. Hennessy, rider of Rhythm Of Love, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards found that K.K. Hennessy was in breach of Rule 211 and having considered his record, issued a fine of €100.

The Stewards interviewed G.F. Carroll, rider of Zalzar, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards were of the opinion that G.F. Carroll was in breach of Rule 211 and having considered his record, issued a fine of €100.

151E Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Alaykha, ridden by L.F. Roche, placed third, Artistic Melody, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed fourth, Pavlenko (JPN), ridden by Anastasia O'Brien, placed fifth and Pearl Of The West, ridden by D.E. Hogan, placed second, where it appeared Pearl Of The West moved off the rail causing interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Pearl Of The West had improved her placing by causing interference to Alaykha and therefore reversed the placings of the second and third placed horses. Furthermore, the Stewards found that D.E. Hogan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record, suspended him for one raceday.
The result now reads;
First: Lovemenot,
Second: Alaykha,
Third: Pearl Of The West,
Fourth: Artistic Melody,
Fiftht: Pavlenko,
Sixth: Kalamriyda.

151G Limerick Racecourse Family Fun Day H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of He's Our Man trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very free.

L.F. Roche, rider of Cardinal Palace, trained by J.A. Nash, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost its action and was pulled up thereafter.
