118A Tiny Giants Play Live June 16th Mdn Hdle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Kanturk Bard trained by Michael Winters was found to have blood at the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the approach to the second last hurdle involving Alpine Cobra, ridden by D.J. McInerney and Mr Everest, ridden by E. O'Connell, where it appeared that Alpine Cobra met with interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise E. O'Connell to react faster in the future, when his mount moves off a straight line.

D.P. Holden, rider of Kanturk Bard trained by Michael Winters, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Melman trained by Peter Fahey was found to have blood at the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

118B Jake Carter Plays June 22nd (M) Mdn Hdle

The Stewards interviewed D.P. Maxwell, rider of Just Klass, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency and Regulation 10.4 in that he failed to give his mount time to respond. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for 1 race day.

D.F. O'Regan, rider of Feisty Madam, trained by S.J.Mahon, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that the bit ran through his mounts mouth and he pulled up thereafter.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Icostnothing trained by P. Corkery was found to have pulled her right fore shoe and was lame on her left hind post race.

D.J. McInerney, rider of Seangoell trained by Norman Lee, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly.

118C Irish Stallion Farms EBF H'cap H'dle

J.S. McGarvey, rider of Settimo Milanese trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered.

Michael C.Griffin, trainer of Bye Bye O Bye, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was coughing post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Caliption (GB), trained by M.F.Morris, was found to have sustained an over reach on the left fore following a fall.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Nick Lost (FR) trained by Henry de Bromhead was found to have pulled the left hind shoe.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Maeve's Choice trained by Matthew J. Smith was found to have blood at the nostrils, probably as a result of a heavy fall.

R.M. Short, rider of Carlitos Bay, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got very tired turning in.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Morgan trained by Gordon Elliott was found to be lame post race and had also pulled a shoe.

L.P. Dempsey, rider of Chatham Street Lad, trained by Michael Winters, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped poorly and emptied travelling down the hill.

118F Follow Limerick On Facebook H'cap S'chse

D.F. O'Regan, rider of Aranhill Rascal, trained by S.J.Mahon, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount went left after the race was started and did not take part.

J.S. McGarvey, rider of Neddyvaughan trained by Padraig Roche, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not act on the ground.

The Stewards interviewed Patrick Carey, trainer of Seskin Flyer, regarding the late arrival of his charge into the Parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that his charge was wearing both a hood and tongue tie and became very up set when applying the tongue tie which caused the delay and apologised for this. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards reminded the trainer of his future responsibilities under Rule 32, to have his charge in the parade ring on time in the future.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Lash It On trained by C.Byrnes was found to have blood on his left nostril post race.

The Stewards interviewed C.A. Landers, rider of Queen Khaleesi, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3.(f) in that he used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for 5 racedays.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Fly Round The Bend trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made two bad mistakes.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Oakfield Rose trained by Eric Larkin was found to sustained a wound on the left fore cannon in running.
